Struggling Father desirous to see his Son - 18
My Dearest Beta Shanu,
For last couple of days I have been not very well and I’m overwhelmed by your thoughts, face, past, togetherness … Though both us are not allowed to be present at the same place but I still hope and pray that my letters have and are reaching and getting narrated to you. To end the education of alphabets I have created a small book of about 105 pages for you. I’m sending / attaching the book also with this letter. Please continue to read the book, and make new sentences with the words, and draw new pictures. You are very creative beta and the best way of utilizing your creation is to express it with beautiful words and artwork. My dearest beta, expression of thoughts via multiple mediums is the greatest gift of nature and God to the human beings like you and me. We should utilize it to express ourselves. With the end of this journey we have to start a new and better journey which we will surely do and it will be more informative, fun-filled and educative. What better journey can that be than knowing our beautiful planet earth and universe! We will try to cover living creatures, geographical mysteries, great monuments and evolution of living being. I will also emphasize on the beauty of our great country, our own motherland India or Bharat. Hope it could have been more interactive, anyway you are the smartest and brightest person I have met so we sure will overcome this constraint also. And we will joined soon by the grace and power of almighty.
Today I will narrate you a small story from Ramayana, one the most sacred, spiritual and holy book of India. This is a story of Ramji and Kevatji. Dearest beta here is the story:
“
As you know from the stories which I use to tell you when we were together, that Ramji left Ayodhya and set out for the forests along with Laxamji and Sitaji for an exile of fourteen years. They walked upto the bank of river Saryu. They took a holy bath in the river and began to wait for a boatman to take them across the river to the opposite bank for proceeding further. After sometime the boatman called Kewat turned up. When asked by Ramji to ferry them across the river in his boat, Kewat said, “Yes, I shall take you across the river but I refuse to accept the usual fare. How can a boatman agree to charge another boatman? Yes, I ferry passengers to the other bank of the river. But you being the arbiter of human destinies, ferry them across this world of tears and trials to the other bank of bliss and mirth. Why can’t I expect deliverance from you? So my lord, allow me, first, to offer my worship at your feet and then change my fortune by granting me instead money, your worship. I shall thus be able to cross the ocean of Samsara (mortal world) and be one with my creator.” Rama agreed to Kewat’s entreaty. They could go to the other bank of Saryu, consequently. Kewat danced in glee. He became immortal by entering records of Ramayana our spiritual literature.
HA! HA! HA!
“
Shanu Beta, lets start learning together. Beta, are you trying to make sentences as written in my previous e-mails? Is there someone helping you? Don’t, worry remember me and I will help you as you are helping me. Are you going to school? What’s your school name? Can you please send a letter to me with your handwriting? Can you send me a e-mail with your usual lines and circles as you use to do on my computer?
Love and God bless you my angel! Always be happy and spread love and happiness. Say “Om” whenever you can. I will always see you and do tilak to you in my morning and evening prayers. My Krishnu, Papa loves you. Lets both of us be united and spread love and peace, I pray! I hope!
