Struggling Father desirous to see his Son - 14

My Dearest Beta Shanu,

I’m slowly recovering now from my illness. Daily when I pray to sun I remember you and pray that when we will meet each other. When I see moon I remember and sing the poem we use to sing together. When I see stars I count them as we use to do together. When I sleep I put my arm and imagine your head cushioned on it and feel your tiny arms circumferencing my neck. I hear the sound of your soft breath and tiny heart. I wish, I hope that I’m awake and I think I’m awakened and my love for you has become more deep than ever. I tell stories to thin air before going to bed so that the air will take them to you as air and space are boundless and infinite thus can’t be conquered. I see your face in every child and my love for you is tending towards boundless and over physical shape and boundaries. But I’m human and still desire that one day when I wake up you will be next to me, cuddled next to me and we’ll play and worship together. I desire and I hope …

Today I will narrate you a small story of turtle and two swans. You also have a panchatantra VCD which I have given you, which has this story. I don’t know weather someone over there really watches the story with you or allows you to see this story by enabling the request to put the VCD in the player. Anyway beta here is the story:

Once upon a time a turtle lived in a pond in the jungle. Turtle had two very good friends who were swans. Swans use to fly long distances in the sky and then when they came back, they use to tell stories and their experiences of the journey to the turtle. One season during the summers it became very hot. The water in the jungle started evaporating and there were no rains in sight. Slowly the water in the pond also dried up. When swans came back from their long journey turtle told them that water will soon dry up in the pond and he will not be able to survive for long. Swans thought for a moment and then suggested a solution that turtle can catch a stick with his mouth and swans will hold each end of the stick and will fly away to a new destination with abundance of water. Turtle agreed and jumped with joy. But swans warned turtle that he should not open his mouth or else he will fall and will never reach his destination. Turtle agreed and promised. Next morning swans and turtle started their journey as planned. While they were flying they passed over a village. Some kids were playing on the ground. When they saw the sight of turtle and swans, they started making noises and faces at them. Turtle got annoyed and shouted at them. But alas turtle opened his mouth, but it was too late for him to realize his mistake, and he fell on the ground thus ending his journey in between. Swans flew all the way to the newer destination. HA! HA! HA!
